The Ministry of Planning is exploring the possibility of resuming work on a project to set up 16 multi-capacity schools in Alnbar province

As part of its tasks of monitoring the implementation of field school projects in all Iraq governorates, the ministerial committee team at the Ministry of Planning on Monday visited the project to establish (16) different schools in Alnbar governorate.

A statement to the ministry said: "The team took a look at the state of the schools, the achievement rates, the reasons for the cessation of work, and the development of solutions and treatments to resume work in them again.

He pointed out that the project involves the establishment of (16) schools with a capacity of 6,12 class, two floors in the traditional construction style, with different spaces distributed on the issue (gray, vertical, flower and vine), including rooms for management, teachers and laboratories, health groups for students and teachers, and a space for students to line up. He pointed out that the overall project completion rate was close to 75%, and the work has reached good stages in most schools, with the completion of (5) schools fully before the halt.

The statement added that the aim of the project is to create suitable conditions for students to receive different sciences, in order to raise the educational level, and raise it by damming the shortage in school buildings in the province, reducing congestion as a result of the double downtime in it, and to accommodate the increasing number of students annually, indicating that one of the reasons observed by the visiting team that caused the project to stop was the delay in the disbursement of the financial advance of the company implementing.

In its statement, the Ministry called on the relevant authorities to speed up the resolution of the problems that impede the implementation of the project, to resume work on it again, so that it can be completed as soon as possible and put into service
