The Ministry of Planning is holding the first meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the Private Sector Development Council's by-election

The Ministry of Planning held today, Tuesday, the first meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the Private Sector Development Council's supplementary elections, chaired by Mr. the Ministry's Agent for Technical Affairs Dr. Maher Hamad Johan.

The meeting discussed the task of the Preparatory Committee in the preparation and preparation for the holding of the by-elections, for the remaining members of the Council in a number of sectors, and the re-election of the deputy chairman of the Council for Private Sector Development and its secretary-general, with the review and verification of the files of candidates for nomination according to the criteria adopted and certified for their nomination to the Council.

The meeting discussed the procedures for the first election process of the Council for the Development of the Private Sector, the decisions of the Judicial Order Committee (260212), as well as the mechanisms and conditions for nomination and the sectors covered by the election process, as well as the timing of the election process

It is worth noting that the remaining sectors in the formation of the private sector development council are: housing and real estate development, transport, digital economy and information technology, e-payment, consulting services, tourism, industry,

Energy, agriculture, trade and trade agencies.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Director General of the Department of Economic and Financial Policies Dr. Sabah Jendi Mansoor and several members of the committee, representing (Office of the President of Council of Ministers, Supreme Judicial Council, Independent High Commission for Elections Union of Chambers of Commerce, Union of Iraq contractors, Union of Iraq industries, General Union of cooperative farming associations and Ministry of Planning)
