Integrity prevents the seizure of 40 donmas of state property in Anbar

The Federal Integrity Authority, on Tuesday, announced the frustration of an attempt to seize two state-owned drugs in Anbar province, with a total area of 40 dunams, while ordering the arrest and indictment of 40 accused in the background of the case.

A team from the Anbar Bureau of Investigation conducted audits and audits in a number of districts and government institutions in Fallujah, including the Directorate of Real Estate Registration, the Directorate of Urban Planning, the branch of the General Tax Authority, as well as the Housing Cooperative Association in the province, the agency said in a statement.

The audit showed there was an attempt to transfer ownership of the properties returned to the Ministry of Finance to other people using forged documents.

According to the agency, the violation involved faking a decision to prove the returns of the two properties, and then registering them with the Provincial Housing Cooperative Association, before dividing the area into 336 plots.

The initial value of the real estate and the resulting pieces was estimated at 1,831,500,000 dinars, while the case involved employees and other people from outside government institutions.

The Authority pointed to the execution of arrest warrants issued against the accused involved in the operation, while the investigating judge specializing in issues of integrity in Ramadi issued a decision to place a reservation signal on the properties and prevent their handling.
