Ministry of Planning participates in the tenth International Scientific Conference to visit the forty in the sacred Karbala

As part of the events and cultural scientific activities, the Ministry of Planning, Statistics and Geographic Information Systems participated in the tenth International Scientific Conference to Visit the Forty at the Holy Karbala organized by the Karbala Center for Studies and Research of the Holy Al-Husseini Shrine in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and the Iraq Universities, under the slogan "Visit the Forty" a civic mission in the era of digital transformation with the participation of elite researchers and academics inside and outside Iraq for two days.

Ms. the Ministry's representative for administrative affairs, Dr. Hanae Ismail Al-Asdi, and Mr. Chairman of the Statistics and Geographic Information Systems Authority, Dr. Zia Awad Kazem, attended the opening session of the conference held in Sahab al-Husseini Sharif, as well as presenting research by Mr. Abbas Abdul Kazem, Director General of Information Technology at the Authority, on the role of digital platforms in coordinating the voluntary efforts to visit the forties, contributing to the provision of data in the digital transformation that can be used in planning and organizing the forties visit.

A number of researchers in the body also shared the events of the conference and reviewed the results of their research, and it should be noted that the Ministry of Planning, Statistics and Geographic Information Systems of the sponsors of the conference with a number of government bodies and institutions
