The Department of Planning is pursuing a project to build a 200-bed hospital in Heat County, Anbar

The ministerial committee specialising in the follow-up of hospital projects in the Ministry of Planning carried out a field visit on Sunday to the project of establishing a 200-bed Heath Hospital in the province of Anbar with the furnishing and preparation for Ministry of Health.

The ministry said in a statement that the project is one of the important strategic projects in the province, which will contribute to the provision of medical services, health and counseling to the citizens in the case of Heath, raising and improving their health

The statement clarified that the main building, consisting of four floors, comprises sections (consultation, neurological diseases, skin diseases, cancer tumors, rehabilitation, renal laundry, women's and childbirth, cardiovascular diseases, kidney diseases, children, bone, dental, internal, general surgery, intensive care, emergency, laboratories). With seven operating rooms and two maternity rooms, administrative offices, study and training rooms, a meeting hall and a cafeteria, as well as the Doctors and Services Building, the Main Emergency Information Building (OMB).

The statement added that the percentage of civilian work completed for the project is close to 95%. It is hoped that medical devices and equipment will arrive soon to be directly installed.

The statement noted that the ministerial follow-up committee noted the existence of some problems related to the project, including the lack of delivery of infrastructure services (water and electricity) to the hospital. the Ministry in its statement called on the relevant authorities to process it in order to accelerate its implementation, and to complete it within the specified timescales.
