al-Zaidi announces the setup of "Software and Performance Balance" and affirms: no red lines in the pursuit of corrupt

Erbil (Kurdistan 24) - Federal Chairman of Council of Ministers Ali Falah al-Zaidi, on Monday, hosted by the Chairman and members of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, in the presence of the Minister of Finance and Governor of the Central Bank Iraqy, to discuss plans, financial and economic policies, and coordination between the two executive and legislative authorities on priority files.

al-Zaidi stressed the importance of the role of Council of Representatives and the Finance Committee in supporting the government's work and its reform programme, according to the Federal Prime Minister's Information Office.

Noting the heavy legacy of files and challenges, which she is working to address in a clear vision, that she has begun, for the first time, the preparation of a programme and performance balance, which represents a roadmap for Iraq's economic future, to link government spending with goals and results and improve the efficiency of public money use.

The Prime Minister stressed that the electricity file will receive exceptional attention, calling on the members of Council of Representatives to exercise their supervisory role in supporting the government's efforts to fight corruption and dry its sources, stressing that there are no red lines in the pursuit of the corrupt.

al-Zaidi explained that the government is preparing a state-building strategy consisting of building a new economic Iraq, corruption-free circles and constitutional security institutions.
