Will the auction and consensus game end next week, or will the entire formation remain a deferred slogan whenever it clashes with the names of sovereign ministries?

The MP from the صادقون bloc Ahmed Mosoui announced that next week will see the announcement of the names of candidates for vacant ministerial bags, stressing that negotiations between political forces have reached their final stages to complete the formation of Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi's government.

Moussaoui said that the names of the candidates will be sent from the Prime Minister to Council of Representatives after they have been decided, in preparation for the appointment of the voting session and the completion of the cabinet.

He pointed out that the 'Truthful' bloc will receive, according to electoral merit, a ministerial purse and the post of Council of Ministers vice president, pointing out that negotiations on this are still ongoing and will be decided before the names are announced.

These developments come at a time when 9 of the 23 cabinet bags are still vacant, after Council of Representatives granted confidence on May 14 to only 14 ministers, while ministries including defense, interior, higher education and planning remained pending due to political disagreements.

In return, Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi remains committed to the agency's administration of the Ministries of Defence and Interior, according to government sources, stressing that the selection of ministers is subject to special standards and controls.

al-Zaidi has also recently directed agents of a number of vacant ministries to continue attending Council of Ministers sessions and managing their ministries' affairs until ministers are formally appointed.
