Erbil (Kurdistan 24) - Federal Government spokesman Haider al-Abadi, on Monday 10 August 2026, denied the government's prior knowledge of the airstrike that targeted the headquarters of the Popular Movement, stressing the direction of the Federal Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to document the attack at the International Security Council.
