The Security Media Unit announced on Thursday that raising the readiness of the security forces will be from the border strip to the field work in all areas.

The cell, in a statement received by Council of Ministers News, said that in accordance with the instructions of Council of Ministers Chairman General Commander of the Armed Forces Ali Falah al-Zaidi, the Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Al-Rahman Abdul Amir Shamri, chaired the team, a meeting attended by the Chief of Army Staff, the head of the Counter-Terrorism Agency, a number of agents, security commanders, general managers, the People's Movement Authority and officers, as well as through the closed-circuit television, all the commanders of operations and police in the provinces.

It added that the two communities discussed the mechanism for applying the instructions of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and raising alertness, from the border strip to the field work in all regions of the country, noting that they stressed that Iraq should not be a zone for any internal or external threat to any country.

The Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces stressed the importance of intelligence efforts and handling information very quickly, stressing the need to unify media discourse, fight rumours, adhere to instructions, and enhance all that would maintain security and stability.
