The director of the department of sharia and millions of visits in the Najaf governorate, Haider Kabon, revealed on Tuesday about the participation of nearly 1000 Hosseini marches to commemorate the death of the Islamic prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah, while the authorities announced that they have completed their security and service preparations to secure the visit.

Capone told the dawn news agency that "the parades offer meals and accommodation, as well as various services that visitors from inside and outside Iraq need", stressing that "these parades have not stopped providing their services since the beginning of the month zero and so far, continue to welcome arrivals to the province".

He pointed out that the upper threshold has been coordinated with respect to the entry of comfort parades within specified times, ensuring that the smoothness of the movement of visitors and the course of the visit is not affected.

For its part, the Najaf Police Command, in a statement in response to Shashak News Agency, announced that it has completed its security and special service preparations for the occasion, by implementing an integrated plan aimed at securing the province, protecting visitors and processions and organizing the movement of crowds.

The statement clarified that the plan is being implemented with the resources of the Najaf Police Command and the participation of supporting formations, primarily the Border Force Command, the Police College, the People's Assembly Authority, along with competent departments such as intelligence, transit, civil defense, anti-drug and law enforcement.

The plan includes enhancing security dissemination at the entrances and exits of the governorate, roads leading to the Old City, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib's Mosque, the Peace Valley Cemetery and the Kufa Mosque, as well as densifying the divider, patrol posts and fixed and moving checkpoints.
