A Nineveh police source reported on Tuesday the death of a 20-year-old man, after being directly shot while in the backyard of his home in the western suburb of Mosul, where he was shot in the head and died from his injuries.
The source confirmed to Shashkash News Agency that the victim's body was transferred to the Department of Justice for legal proceedings and medical examination, noting that the security forces were able to arrest the accused based on the complaint, information and confessions provided by the victim's owners.
The police explained that the accused is currently under investigation by the competent authorities to stand on the facts and motives of the accident and take the necessary legal action against him.
