Erbil (Kurdistan24) - the Meteorological Authority announced, on Tuesday, details of the weather situation in the country for the coming days, warning of a severe heat wave that peaked with six Iraqi governorates registering half a degree of boiling.
The agency said in an official statement that the weather for the next four days (Wednesday to Saturday) will be healthy and stable across the country, with temperatures remaining at close and generally high levels.
As for the details of the maximum temperatures expected for Wednesday, the statement on the issuance of the southern provinces and the central Euphrates has revealed the temperature list, where each (Middle, Najaf Honor, Messan, Dhi Qar, Mthena, and Basra) will record 50 degrees Celsius.
While the capital Baghdad and the sacred provinces of Karbala and Babylon and Dionyia approach this barrier with a record of 49 degrees Celsius, followed by Dialy with 48 degrees, and Salahuddin with 47 degrees, and Anbar with 46 degrees.
In the region of Kurdistan, Nineveh and Kirkuk, the atmosphere will be less intense, with Kirkuk recording 45 degrees, Nineveh 44 degrees, Erbil 42 degrees, and Hawke 40 degrees, while Sulaymaniyah records the lowest maximum temperature in the country at 39 degrees Celsius.
