Erbil (Kurdistan24) - The Directorate of Traffic in the Suran Autonomous Administration of the Kurdistan Region announced, on Tuesday, the start of the operation of speed monitoring cameras from point to point on the street of Raffa Ali Bak which is 130 km away from the capital Erbil, urging drivers to comply with the specified speed and traffic instructions.

The directorate said in a statement that the cameras will be in service from 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, on Glee Ali Bak Road.

She explained that the maximum speed on the road is 70 km/h, stressing the need for drivers to comply with the set speed limits and other traffic guidelines.

The Suran Traffic Directorate urged all road users to follow the directions, taking care of their safety and avoiding traffic violations.
