Erbil (Kurdistan24) - The IraqI parliament is holding two regular sessions this week to discuss and complete the reading of a set of important bills, which affect the rights of employees and professionals, along with laws on the recovery of looted money and anti-corruption.
According to the agenda of today's session on Tuesday 11 August, Parliament's agenda includes the first reading of two bills on "Doctors' Support" and "Giving Long-Term Leave to Employees", as well as the second reading of two amendments to the Law on Human Rights and the Lawyers' Union Act.
At its next session on Thursday (August 13), Parliament is preparing to introduce one of the most important anti-corruption legislation; the first reading of the draft law "Return on Corruption Revenue" will be held, which consists of 45 articles aimed at draining corruption sources and returning public funds to the Treasury.
Thursday's session will also see the second reading of the draft amendments to the Code of Jury Writers and the Event Management Act, aimed at reorganizing and defining relevant legal and social frameworks.
