The member of the parliamentary oil committee, Zaneb Khazariji, confirmed on Monday that Ministry of Oil is currently working on diversifying the sources of crude exports, pointing out that after Turkey there will be a move on Syria, Jordan and other countries to export IraqI oil.

The government of Iraq has recently signed an agreement with Turkey to export one million barrels a day via the Turkish jihad line with the aim of diversifying sources and increasing export volumes.

She pointed out that the Iraq government is in talks with the Iranian side regarding the movement of Iraq oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.

Earlier today, Ministry of Oil Iraq announced its intention to create a new pipeline system to transport and export crude oil through two routes to Vishakhabur and Panais, as part of its plans to develop infrastructure and diversify Iraq crude export portals to global markets.

the Ministry said in a statement, reported to Shakhkov News Agency, that its mining agency Nasir Aziz chaired a meeting to discuss the project to create the new pipeline system, stressing that the proposed routes would provide additional export ports alongside the main port in the south of Iraq, enhancing the flexibility of the export system and providing multiple options for the marketing and transportation of crude oil.

Aziz explained that the project includes two tracks, the first Basra - modern - Vishakhapur, and the second modern - Banias, pointing out that its implementation will contribute to the development of infrastructure for the transport and export of crude oil and enhance Iraq's ability to diversify its oil export tracks and outlets.
