The president of the football federation is visiting His Excellency Mr. Ammar the Wise.

The president of the Iraq football federation, Yunus Mahmoud, visited His Excellency Mr. Amar al-Hakim, head of the Coalition of State Powers, in his office at Baghdad.

His Excellency, Mr. Amar al-Hakim, congratulated on the election of the Union Executive Office, wishing the national teams continuous harmony and success in their contributions to what the IraqI public and the sports street are looking forward to.

His Highness stressed the importance of sport, and its role in raising the Iraq flag in international forums, calling for attention to age groups and their own teams as a core of the national team in the next stage.

Mr. Wise emphasized the promotion of the IraqI league, attention to infrastructure, and finding outlets and ways to finance clubs and teams away from the country that is experiencing financial shortages due to the current events and declining oil exports.

He stressed the need for the team to pay close attention to the next two qualifiers: the Gulf Cup and the Asia Cup.

He stressed the integrity of the performance between the Federation, the Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Youth, with the importance of nurturing and discovering talents, improving the reality of sports medicine, and leveraging international experience in setting up world-class treatment centers.
